Job Description

We are hiring Business and Systems Analysts to join our team. Reporting to the Projects Director, you will work alongside other Business Analysts and Project managers with the wider EastPoint delivery teams.
As Business and System Analysts you bridge the technical divide between the EastPoint delivery teams and our clients.
You will be comfortable with the technical and non-technical aspects of the job. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing user acceptance testing.  You may also be required to provide training.  You will be responsible for analyzing current client systems and working with our technical to ensure long-term effectiveness.
To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and also have strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to explain solutions and difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with clients to understand the strategic business needs and plans for growth.
  • Evaluating business processes and models, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement through the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Determining system efficiency and functionality by liaising with clients.
  • Analysing business needs working with the Delivery Team to identify technology solutions to business requirements.
  • Effectively communicating your insights, cost-benefit analysis reports and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Efficiently integrating new systems, programs, and applications with business operations and services.
  • Testing the new systems to validate that they are working as expected.
  • Creating training processes and documentation to ensuring end-user proficiency with new systems.
  • Identifying data for business insights and to inform business decisions.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, and an accredited qualification in management consultancy, or similar.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Business and Systems Analysis or a related field.
  • Experience working with Microsoft technologies is preferable.
  • Preferred experience with JIRA, MS Project, Visio, CRM systems, Enterprise Systems.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of available of Data and Systems Integration solutions.
  • Demonstrate an analytical mind capable of solving complex problems to improve our client business operations.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills toward facilitating the use of new software systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • A track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects and ability to work well in a team.
  • Must be eligible to work and live in Ireland.
  • Fluent English required both written and spoken.
